The who and the what behind the words
The Blog:
QuintesSentient is an amalgamation of the words Quintessential and Sentient.
The blog is (as the title suggests) at times heavily loaded with sarcasm while always striving for thought provoking cometary about the absurdity found in current events and everyday life. This is a make you think blog covering topics that are "In the News" (Genlisae's Google Reader).
In Genlisae's words: "Politician's, Celebrities, Company Executives, Co-workers, Fellow Bloggers, People, do absurd, wacky, ridiculous and just plain dumb things all the time. You would think that we as a species would learn eventually. Yet we never do. There must be some sort of sense; some kind of intelligence; to all the stupidity. I plan to find it."
The Blogger:
Genlisae is a 30something woman with a background in Psychology and Digital Media Arts.
Something of a geek, she enjoys reading up on technology and advancements in science and medicine and occasionally playing real-time strategy games and MMORPG's. Her hobbies include reading, writing fiction, painting, photography, sculpture and fractal art.
